Yes. Oyen is a pet insurance brand of Emerge Insurtech (M) Sdn Bhd (202101001225), the insurance agent of MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd (197901002705). MSIG is the insurer that issues your policy and pays approved claims, and Oyen helps you with everything in between.
Oyen is the brand you see. The company behind it is Emerge Insurtech (M) Sdn Bhd (202101001225), formerly known as Oyen Sdn Bhd, and we've been arranging pet insurance for cats and dogs in Malaysia through Oyen since 2021.

Yes. Benefits under your Oyen pet insurance policy are protected by PIDM up to its limits. You can read how this protection works on the PIDM website.
You pay your vet first, then submit your claim online with the bill and your vet's notes. You can go to any licensed vet in Malaysia, because there's no panel.
We pay straight into your bank account, usually within 3 to 4 weeks. Straightforward claims with complete documents are often paid in 2 to 3 weeks.
