Important update: Oyen Takaful Kucing is being discontinued
As of 5 May 2026, Oyen Takaful Kucing is no longer available for new sign-ups, and renewals will end on 5 July 2026. If you currently hold an active Takaful certificate, your coverage continues unchanged until your certificate's end date. Read the full update
You won't be able to change your plan during the certificate period, however, you may choose to upgrade or downgrade your plan when it is due for renewal in 1 year's time. If you choose to upgrade your plan, health conditions that you have made a claim for previously will have the same vet medical limit as your previous plan.
The limit for other unexpected diseases and injuries will follow your new plan.
For example, if for the first year plan, you are on Cat Basic Takaful (Vet Medical Limit: RM3,500) and have made a claim for multiple treatments for a pancreatic condition during the term of your first year certificate.
At the time of renewal, if you choose to upgrade to Cat Plus (Vet Medical Limit: RM5000), your Plan Limits will be RM 3,500 for previously claimed conditions and RM5,000 for new illnesses and/or unrelated conditions.
