Renewing Pet Insurance: Will My Premium Change?

Yes! You may renew your plan with us for your pet up to the age of 13 years old.

There are many conditions that we look into to determine the premium for renewal. This includes but not limited to, the age of your pet at renewal, the claims history and type of claims of your pet, health conditions, and more.

Additionally, since Oyen is an insurance pool, we also need to make sure that our overall pool of premium and amount of claims we have paid out are sustainable.

Our insurance partner, MSIG, takes into account of all these factors before finalising what's the renewal premium for Oyen customers, and honestly, this will differ on a pet owner by pet owner basis, since not all pets are the same.

Rest assured that we will aim to treat each and everyone of you fairly and look at your overall history and relationship with us before determining your renewal premium.

We will send you a reminder to renew your plan with us 1 month before your policy expires. This reminder will also show up in your Oyen account.
