How to update your pet's details and dog microchip ID

Keeping your pet's details accurate helps your claims go through smoothly 💛 For dogs, a microchip number is required, so please make sure it's added to your pet's profile.

To update your pet's details, log in to your Oyen account and go to your pet's profile. If you are not sure where to find it, message us and we will guide you.

An important note: changing certain pet details, such as date of birth or breed, may change your premium. If there's a difference, we may reach out to collect the premium difference before the change can be officially updated.

(Note: cats don't need a microchip. They use a vet medical ID instead. See "Do I need to microchip my cat?")
