Where can my reimbursement be paid? (Bank account requirements)

When your claim is approved, the insurer pays your reimbursement straight to your bank account ๐Ÿ’› To make sure it lands smoothly, here's what your account needs to be:

  • โœ… A Malaysian bank account
  • โœ… In the policyholder's own name (the name must match, or the payment will be rejected)

What can't be paid to:

  • โŒ Foreign or overseas bank accounts
  • โŒ E-wallets
  • โŒ An account in someone else's name
  • โŒ Digital banks such as GX Bank and Aeon Bank, because the insurer's bank can't pay to them
  • โŒ Virtual banks or cards such as Wise, which aren't possible at the moment

Any attempt to pay to these will bounce back to the insurer, so please use a regular Malaysian bank account in your own name. As long as your details fit that, you're all set ๐Ÿพ You can review or update your bank details anytime by logging in to your Oyen account and going to your account settings. If you are not sure where to find it, message us and we will guide you.
