How long does it take to get my claim reimbursed?

This is for existing Oyen Takaful Kucing certificate holders. New Takaful Kucing sign-ups ended on 5 May 2026, and renewals ended from 5 July 2026. If you are looking for new cover, please see our conventional pet insurance.

Once your claim is approved, your reimbursement is paid to your registered bank account within up to 5 working days.

The 3–4 week timeline you may have heard refers to the full end-to-end process — from the moment you submit, through document and vet validation, review, and final approval. The payout itself happens within 5 working days after that approval.
