Do I need to get Oyen's approval before I seek vet treatment?

No, you don't need Oyen's approval before taking your pet to the vet. If your pet is sick or hurt, please go to the vet first.

You can visit any licensed vet clinic in Malaysia. There is no panel of clinics.

Oyen works on a pay and claim basis. You pay the vet bill, then submit a claim online through your Oyen account with the itemised bill or receipt and your vet's notes on the diagnosis.

We pay straight into your bank account, usually within 3 to 4 weeks. Straightforward claims with complete documents are often paid in 2 to 3 weeks.

Whether a treatment is covered depends on your policy terms and exclusions, and each claim is reviewed after you submit it. If you're unsure, you can check the exclusions list or ask us.
