How long until my policy is active after I pay?

Congratulations on protecting your furkid 🐾 Here's what happens once your payment goes through.

After successful payment, your policy is activated and you'll receive your confirmation and policy documents by email 💛

For Oyen Conventional: activation is usually instant, and at most within 2 to 3 hours. If it takes a little longer, that's the bank updating our system on their side, not something wrong with your sign-up. If it's taking unusually long, just reach out to us and we'll check it for you.

For Takaful: activation has to be done by the takaful operator, so it can take up to 1 working day.

A gentle reminder on waiting periods: while your policy activates right away, coverage for illness begins after a 30-day waiting period, and accidents are covered immediately. Hereditary conditions have a 12-month waiting period.

If you've paid but haven't received your confirmation email, check your spam folder. If it's still not there, just message us and we'll confirm your status 🐾
