Here are the main benefits under Oyen Pet Insurance, subject to your policy schedule, annual limit, co-payment, deductible, waiting period, and policy terms.

Vet and surgical fees

Your annual vet and surgical fees limit depends on your plan:

• Basic: up to RM4,000 a year
• Plus: up to RM6,000 a year
• Champion: up to RM10,000 a year

This includes eligible consultation, surgery, diagnosis, blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound, and prescribed medication for covered illnesses or injuries.

Clinic overnight stay

• Basic: up to 3 nights
• Plus: unlimited nights, subject to policy terms and your annual limit
• Champion: unlimited nights, subject to policy terms and your annual limit

Follow-up and post-surgical treatment

If your pet needs surgery, follow-up treatment that results directly from that surgery is covered for a set number of days per surgery, depending on your plan:

• Basic: 30 days
• Plus: 60 days
• Champion: 60 days

This is counted from the surgery and must relate to the same condition the surgery was for.

Non-surgical follow-up for the same condition is handled as normal continued treatment while your policy is active, subject to your annual limit and the usual terms.

Burial or cremation

Burial or cremation depends on your plan:

• Basic: no burial or cremation benefit
• Plus: covered up to RM500
• Champion: covered up to RM1,000

Third party liability

Cats and dogs are covered differently:

For cats:

• Basic: no third party liability cover
• Plus: up to RM10,000, with a RM1,000 excess per claim
• Champion: up to RM30,000, with a RM1,000 excess per claim

For dogs, not including banned or restricted breeds:

• Basic: up to RM5,000, with a RM500 excess per claim
• Plus: up to RM30,000, with a RM1,000 excess per claim
• Champion: up to RM50,000, with a RM1,000 excess per claim
