Oyen covers your pet when they're sick or hurt, so a check-up on a healthy pet isn't covered. The moment your vet finds something and starts investigating it, the tests and treatment for that are reviewed as a claim.

Ask your vet to write the symptoms or finding, and why they ordered each test, on the report or invoice. That's what shows the claims team a test was medically needed and not routine.
Not when it's only to screen a healthy dog. If your vet orders the bloodwork because of symptoms, or to monitor an illness that's covered, it's reviewed as a claim. Ask your vet to note the reason on the report.
The check-up itself isn't covered. The tests and treatment for the lump are reviewed as a claim for that condition, unless it's pre-existing or excluded. Ask your vet to write the finding on the report.
Yes, when your pet is unwell and the vet diagnoses or treats an illness or injury that isn't excluded. The consultation is part of that claim.
